In June, dBSea representatives attended the Marine Ireland Trade show and “Our Ocean Wealth Summit 2018” in Galway, Ireland. The event emphasised networking within the Irish marine sector and addressed key industry issues including resource management, Brexit implications, and emerging possibilities in marine renewable energy.

A representative from the Blue Economy Sectors associated with EMODnet requested a presentation on dBSea’s capabilities, particularly focusing on how the software utilises bathymetry and geological data. We provided a brief introduction to dBSea and the use of bathymetry and geology data via a video demonstration.

The summit brought together professionals to discuss regulatory frameworks and future growth opportunities in the broader marine industry.
