dBSea helps Norwegian regulator

Norway’s Institute of Marine Research has released guidance addressing anthropogenic underwater noise from seismic surveys, electromagnetic investigations, and underwater explosions.

The institute leveraged dBSea modeling software to develop their recommendations, ensuring the guidance accounts for Norway’s varied marine ecosystems. This approach enabled them to provide evidence-based advice tailored to the country’s unique oceanographic conditions.

The complete report is accessible through the Institute of Marine Research’s publications.
